Blind Eyes

I have such
Pretty eyes,
I know,
It’s such a shame to have to
Cover them
With glasses.

And it’s
Saddening to know
That one day
They won’t be able
To view the world
Any longer,
Ruined by
Blindness

All beautiful things
Are broken,
It seems.
